Weekly Update ☀️
Class Round-Up
We want to say a huge well done to our Year 6 children who have worked so hard on their SATs; we can’t fault their focus and effort this week. They also enjoyed the social element of breakfast club each morning in preparation for their busy mornings. Thank you for all the support that parents/carers have given the children in the build up to this important week.
As school places have been allocated for September, we have provided existing Nursery parents with their child’s transition details via the app; if anyone has any trouble accessing these, please contact the school office.
We are accumulating a large amount of lost property which have no names on, so we can’t return them to their owners. We will keep putting the clothes out at home times and urge parents/carers to take a look. We really encourage you to name your child’s clothing, so things don’t go missing.
The children enjoyed watching a performance of The Railway Children this morning which was well received by all the audience. It was a well-deserved end to a busy week.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Attendance Matters
It is so important that we see your children in school every day as any missed days means missed learning.
There are our attendance figures for this week:

Overall 97.1% (fantastic!)
Well done to the 12 classes who got 96% or above and to Classes 206 and 614 who have perfect attendance this week. Congratulations to you both.
We want to aim for more children and classes to achieve 100%.

Morning PE Club gives children in Y2-Y6 the opportunity to attend a weekly PE club. Children must access this club via the main hall doors (not via the playground) at 8.25am on their set day. Latest drop off time is 8:30am. This club is optional and will run throughout the school year.
Reminders
*This is a reminder that dogs should not be brought onto the school site, even if they are small enough to carry.
* Please label all children’s uniforms, especially jumpers and cardigans. With the hot weather, we have found many unnamed and can’t return them to their owners.
*On non-P.E. days, children should wear full school uniforms, including black school shoes.
*Children with pierced ears should only wear a small stud for school and remove them for P.E. lessons, please.
*Nail varnish should not be worn in school for safety reasons.
We thank you for your support with uniform expectations.
*Please can parents/carers ensure we have the most up-to-date information on our system. Please let the office know if you have moved house, changed your telephone number or email address.
