Weekly Update
An eventful week with Nursery taking delivery of some duck eggs which have hatched into gorgeous ducklings and provided the children with lots of fascination and engagement. Miss Parker will enjoy looking after them over the weekend.
A group of children took part in a Panathlon event on Wednesday where the children participated in a range of activities and came second overall. A big well done to everyone who took part.
Kader Primary hosted a Girls Football event on Friday, and 132 children from Year 2 -6 attended over the day. Enthusiasm and teamwork were in abundance, and the event was enjoyed by all.
We had a lovely time on Wednesday evening in the Town Hall where our choir performed as part of The Learning Legacy Trust Choir Festival. The children had worked really hard on learning the songs, and we were really proud of them all. Thank you for all the lovely feedback we have had about the event.
What a fantastic day we had on Thursday for World Book Day. The children came in a range of imaginative costumes or pyjamas, and each class engaged in a number of activities and webinars over the day. Thank you to all the Key Stage 2 children and parents/carers who attended our Library Drop-In session after school. Amongst the activities available was a quiz which everyone had a great attempt at completing; well done to everyone who took part! We hope you enjoy using your World Book Day Voucher to purchase a new book.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Attendance Matters
It is so important that we see your children in school every day as any missed days means missed learning.
There are our attendance figures for this week:

Overall 96.2%
Well done to the 11 classes who got 96% or above – a great achievement.
This half term we want to aim for more children and classes to achieve 100%.
Just a reminder that school cannot authorise holidays in term time except in exceptional circumstances.

Reminders
*Thank you to everyone who has named their child’s uniform; this helps us to return any lost property to its rightful owner.
*All medicines brought into school, should be brought in through the office where the appropriate paper work will be completed. We only accept medicines that need to be taken more than 3 times a day. Children should not have medicines in their own coats or bags. Many thanks for your support.
*Please remember that children shouldn’t be playing on the P.E. equipment on the playgrounds/field before and after school as there needs to be a member of staff supervising them at all times.
