Weekly Update
The children have enjoyed learning about their new units of work this week and are really excited to have more engaging activities over the rest of the term. Each class has sent out a newsletter, so parents/carers are aware what your children are learning.
We are so proud of our new Nursery and Reception children who are settling into school so well and are loving working in their Continuous Provision.
We have new delicious menus for our school lunches which we will put on the BLOG each week, so children (and parents) know in advance what choices are available.
Mr Jackson has already started with some sports clubs and more will be available over the coming weeks.
If you have any questions or queries, please see your child’s class teacher or members of SLT are available on the gates/playground each morning.
Attendance Matters
It is so important that we see your children in school every day as any missed days means missed learning. We have had a very positive start to the new term.
There are our attendance figures for this week:

Overall 95.4%
A big well done to the 8 classes who had 96% or over this week – a super effort – and for morning Nursery who had 100% for the second week running.
If children are arriving late or leaving school early for medical appointments, please make sure that evidence is provided to the school office.
Just a reminder that school cannot authorise holidays in term time except in exceptional circumstances. We have attached the New National Framework for Penalty Notices, issued by the DfE.
