Acklam Whin’s PTA is a group of parents, teachers and friends of Acklam Whin Primary School who organise events to raise funds to spend on memorable experiences for our children.

We meet up once every half term to discuss ideas, plan events and decide how best to spend the funds raised so that all the children across the year groups benefit. Our aim is to enhance the learning opportunities for all our children.

Fund raising activities in the past have included Break the Rules Day, Design Technology Bake Sale, Christmas Fayre, Easter raffle, Chocolate Day and Summer Fayre. The funds raised have been spent on a whole range of things from book bags for all children starting in Reception to making a contribution to the Year 6 residential to Robin Wood. Recently, all the children have benefitted from our wonderful new library.
