WEEKLY BLOG – Friday 19th January 2024

Weekly Round Up

Happy New Year! We have had a busy couple of weeks since returning to school. All the children have come back super smart in their uniforms and with a fantastic work ethic.

We will be posting our BLOG each Friday, so please look out for the app alert and follow the link to get news, updates and information.

Class Round Up

Starting next week, for each BLOG, we will focus on a key stage and celebrate what the classes have been focusing on in their learning.

Attendance Matters

It is so important that we see your children in school every day as any missed days means missed learning. We want all children to aim for 96% attendance or more.

Please remember that our classroom doors open at 8.40 am and close at 8.50 am, so well done to everyone who arrives at school on time every day. Children who are late are missing some important lessons like phonics and reading each day.

Below is our attendance figures for the end of the autumn term:

Overall 93.4%

Well done to the 71 children across school who achieved 100% attendance in the autumn term.  They all received a certificate and had recognition in assembly. A HUGE well done to you all.

This term, we want to aim for more children and classes achieving 96% or more (green). We will keep you updated each week.

We know you can do it!
